Sponsorship Polfa Grodzisk is a company, which apart form the production and research activity conducts social, educational, and welfare work on a broad basis. The company’s activity is guided by the rules of honesty, responsibility and professional ethics that had been respected by Polfa Grodzisk long before such concepts as Corporate Social Responsibility or Balanced Development started functioning in business for good.

We feel sure that our mission is to promote and protect health. Keeping in mind the shortage of sufficient means in the public Health Sector, we are very much committed to supporting national health protection programmes. We support therefore various social and educational actions and programmes addressed to doctors, pharmacists and patients (such as, among other things, Sopkard, the Prevention Programme of Primal Neural Tube Defect). The motto: “It is life that interests us…taking care about generations’ health” reflects ideally the aim of our activities.

Polfa Grodzisk has been supporting scientific development providing help with organization of major scientific conventions and conferences as well as professional development of pharmacists and doctors. In 2005, the Company initiated, in cooperation with the Polish Pharmaceutical Society and “Pharmaceutical Paper”, an educational programme for pharmacists. The programme involves numerous conventions conducted in the form of scientific and educational conferences that are arranged for in Polish academic cities. Polfa Grodzisk supports members of medical and pharmaceutical circles in their career development by means of thorough trainings thanks to which the doctors and pharmacists gain the educational points indispensable to their promotion. These meetings have gained approval and appreciation of the pharmaceutical circle proved by the titles granted. The Friend of Pharmacy Self-Government Title was granted in January 2008 for “for the many years’ and highest-quality cooperation in organizing pharmacist trainings as well as for contribution to pharmaceutical and medical knowledge propagation”. The Company also received the 2008 Master of Pharmacy Title for: “conducting, in agreement with ethical rules, educational activities in medical and pharmaceutical milieus.”

We feel to be particularly responsible for our region and its inhabitants. We care for and support financially numerous medical institutions. We have been supporting the John Paul II Western Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki for many years. Providing care for its patients, inhabitants of the region, we purchased medical and information equipment as well as resuscitation ambulances.

We know how important it is to provide support for other people. We actively support the activity of foundations, societies and institutions. We are engaged in welfare actions and we hand over medicines free of charge helping thus the poor. Our efforts have been noticed and appreciated. In 2008, we received the award of the John Paul II Foundation of New Evangelization “DUC IN ALTUM” and the Title: “A Friend – Donator of the Foundation”. It is a special proof of trust in us on the part of the sick and the suffering.
